Die Geduld der Palm-treuen

Ich glaube ich werde (gezwungenermassen) untreu. Immer wieder habe ich den Engadget-Feed nach Palm-Infos durchgesucht. Seit einer ganzen Weile war da nichts mehr dabei und dann das: Krise. Sie haben Probleme mit ihrem OS Lieferanten.
Palm states that they will keep producing new products based on the current version of the OS, and are “presently in negotiations with PalmSource to expand our development and distribution rights to the current version of the Palm OS.” This would seem to imply that Palm wants to try their hand at their very own branch off of Palm OS 5, but if that were the case it would mean we’re in for some more waiting — the practice of which Palm users must be pretty good at by now.
Ich werde wohl ein Windows-Gerät als nächstes mir zulegen müssen, was den Anreiz schon ziemlich schmälert. Hmm.

Hab’ diesen Beitrag grad über Google entdeckt. Falls du’s nicht schon getan hast, wechsle nicht. Der Ärger hat kein Ende mit einem Win-Gerät. Vielleicht einfach anders, aber sicher nicht weniger.
